Claudia kicks her pregnancy plot into high gear, but there may be a few flies in the ointment. What if Sonny is not the daddy? Ric knows he could be the daddy. “He’s already lost his mother to Sonny, he’s not going to lose his child as well” says Guza.

Ric will take drastic measures to find out if he’s the daddy. Claudia feels the walls closing in on her.

Sonny will have his hands full thanks to Michael coming out of the coma. Expect Michael’s return to be huge and it will change P.C. forever!

Once out of the coma Michael reacts to his loved ones in different ways. some he’ll resent. Some he’ll forgive, others he wants nothing to do with. You will see him treat Carly & Sonny in different ways, which will leave one parent heartbroken & the other overcompensating.

“She sees his finger move!” cheers Laura Wright(Carly).She 100 percent believes that this is him trying to come back to her. She knows she’s not going out of her mind. She’s like, I saw it! I know I saw it!”

While Partick does not doubt that Michael’s finger moved,the neurosurgeon has a different interpretation.”Patrick’s like, “It’s just a reflex,”scoffs Wright.

“Carly’s like, No! He hasn’t made a move since [the shooting].Now that we gave him the test,all of a sudden his hand moves.She’s like, “It’s a sign.I know it is.”

Jax is on board, too. “He’s like “If you believe you saw it , I believe it,too.”

Naturally,she rushes to share the news with Jason,whose reaction is…muted.”He’s just fearful, “sighs Wrighr.”Everyone’s afraid to really jump in and believe, because they don’t want to be disappointed.

But that’s not Carly,’She’s like. “I don’t need you to hope for me.I can hope for the both of us, “ Wright declares. “ I know this is Michael trying to come back.”

Wright points out that Sonny also backs his ex: “He says, you have the best instincts I know,and if you feel like something’s going on, I’m going to go with you on this.”

Jax flies in Dr. Ingrid Hensen,the specialist who developed an experimental surgery designed to trigger brain function. However, Dr. Hensen’s prognosis is grim. “She says all of his findings are correct-Michael is in a permanent coma.So she can’t guarantee anything. Carly’s like, “I don’t need a guarantee.I just want a chance.”

It’s not much of one. Carly learns that two out of a total of 10 patients who underwent the surgery actually died. “But Carly says, “Is what he’s doing right now living?”recounts Wright. “Do I risk his life to give him a life,or do we keep things as they are?”Carly [visits] Michael, going “What do I do? Give me a sign!”

As Anthony heads off to prison, Mr. and Mrs. Corinthos consummate their marriage of convenience. The move hits both husband and wife by surprise, considering their rocky history. However, the detente could be short-lived, as Claudia’s involvement in Micheal’s shooting is poised to come out...

“Sonny has come to a place where he thinks romantic love is no longer an option.” Sonny chose to stay with Claudia over his ex, Kate. The woman he has loved-almost uniformly-have been badly hurt because of him and his business. So, Sonny is making a practical choice. He and Claudia are compatible. She improves his business position, facilitating his takeover of the Zacchara business and territory. It makes sense for him to stay with her from a practical standpoint-and he is genuinely appreciative that she sided with him against her father.”

Johnny interrupts Sonny and Claudia’s afterglow and tries to pursuade his sister not to risk her life by staying married to Sonny. However, Claudia refuses to leave her husband. Guza says “Sonny represents the only security Claudia has ever known. He’s an honorable man and Claudia trusts him to keep his word. She hopes for a share of his power, but even if that does not happen, she believes there interests run parallel. She rationalizes that as long as she can keep her guilt in Micheal’s shooting a secret, she can have it all.

“They’re almost friends now.” says Sarah Brown (Claudia) of the burgeoning relationship. “This isn’t just banging up against the wall. There’s actually some tenderness and warmth and intimacy behind it, so that changes the dynamic. It’s not making love, but it’s more than just having sex. It’s somewhere in between. I think there’s a feeling of acceptance, if nothing else, between them where it’s like, ‘I get you. I know how dark you are. You’re not darker than me (laughs). If anything, it’s a darkness contest! Who’s soul is blacker?”

Things for the newlyweds would be just perfect except for the sticky little detail of how Claudia got Micheal shot. When Sonny catches her looking for a DVD she lies & says she lost an earring while they were having sex. Claudia then goes to see Micheal & viwers learn she’s been visiting him regularly to say sorry for what she did. SB says that it’s very tough on Claudia because she’s a tormented soul and she’s feeling all these things she doesn’t want to feel: guilt, remorse, etc. Carly arrives to see Micheal & Claudia hides. Claudia overhears that there’s an experimental procedure that may cure Micheal. Jax tells Carly he supports whatever she wants to do. While with Sonny, Claudia accidently slips info about Micheal & he wants to know how she knew. SB says Claudia worries that Sonny will kill her if he finds out.
